Before We Officially Start
Even though your project start date might be a little bit away from when you book our project, we’ll get started on your transformation immediately! Right at the beginning is where most of your work comes in. Our design experience is a collaborative process, and in order to design effectively for you, we need to get to know you, your business, and your ideal client.
You’ll upload any images you think you might want on your website to our shared Google Folder. We'll work together to get all the photos just perfect, using our design judgment to choose which images belong where.

- We can write the words (also called “copy”). We will work together to craft a storyline your clients follow,
- You can write your copy. You might even have a great starting point from your current website! You’ll take the words (also called “copy”) from your website and put them into a shared Google Doc.

2. Mood Board
We’ll send you a mood board to express the feeling you want your brand and website to convey. We’ll use a mix of images you pinned and images we believe align with your vision. You’ll give us feedback on whether or not we’re heading in the right direction, and we’ll keep designing!
Done!
Once we’ve reached the final verdict, you’ll receive all of your brand files! Do not worry, you will NEVER get just 1 logo file. You’ll have all the different versions of your logo in various colors and file types. Plus, you’ll also receive a color guide, brand guide, and the font files used in your brand. You’ll be set and ready to use your branding throughout all of your marketing and products!
3. Brand Drafts
Next, we’ll deep dive into designing! After we've designed a couple solid brand concepts, we’ll send them your way. We’ll include a video walking you through exactly what you’re seeing and the strategy behind each design. You’ll answer specific questions to guide you as you provide feedback. Hopping on another video call to discuss the designs is always an option if you prefer communicating your feedback verbally. Whichever mood board you’re leaning towards, we will refine it further to get it just right! We will go back and forth in the revision process until we get your perfect brand.
To kick everything off, we will schedule a virtual face-to-face meeting. During this meeting we will go over all of your "homework" (see above), coach you on your messaging, and set goals for the project. This meeting looks different for every client and is completely based on your needs. No matter what, you’ll leave with clarity about your overall vision for your brand!

We’ll put the final touches on your website by integrating your email marketing, CRM, call scheduling software, and anything else needed. We'll double and triple check all links, check the mobile responsiveness, and add several SEO touches so your new website gets found!
5. Final Touches
We’ll go back into design mode while you focus on running your business. We take things page by page, and you’ll be able to view each page as it’s designed.
4. More Site Design
Once we have built out the 1-2 pages of your website, we’ll send you a link to preview it! This will be an interactive, dynamic preview. You’ll provide us with feedback on the overall direction.
(P.S. your current website doesn’t go anywhere until you’re ready to launch the new one.)
3. Preview
Your website is custom built from scratch using the most strategic and fun design possible. We plan out your website on paper, then convert that into a digital form. We will always stay in contact with you as we get the initial pages of your website created.
2. Design
After your brand is all set we'll have another meeting, this time the focus is on your website. We will refresh ourselves on the overall goal and vision, then review your website copy and images. We’ll also discuss all the fun marketing stuff, like growing your email list, your client workflows, and more. We’ll strategically set up your website with your goals and processes in mind. Remember, the goal is NOT to build a pretty website, but to build a website that converts viewers into buyers.

We believe every website owner should be empowered to maintain their own website. We will teach you the ins and outs of updating and maintaining your website on your own. However, we have maintenance plans if maintaining your website is something you'd rather pass off to us. In addition to the training, we’ll be available for immediate tech support for 30 days after your launch.
2. Learn Showit
This is the day you’ve been waiting for! Before going live, we'll do a soft launch and get on a call with you. On this call we will walk through each page of your website and make any needed tweaks. We'll give you tools to launch your new website and brand to your audience, along with launch alongside you to our audience with social media posts and a blog post to help you gain even more traction.

How long does the design process take?
All projects last about 4-7 weeks. You'll have time before we start to get your homework done. We will guide you through the process, keep things on schedule, and make sure you have your dream site up and running ASAP!
What determines the cost?
We believe your business is worth investing in, and you should too! The investment for custom design starts at $2,000. Most people spend anywhere from $2,000 - $6,000, with more involved sites and businesses being more expensive.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a deposit of 25-50% of the total investment to hold your spot in our calendar. This deposit is non-refundable to make sure that you honor the time we've set aside just for you.
Can I book you for only brand design?
Yes! We have many clients who only need branding, and we offer packages for just that! In this case, we will follow the branding timeline from up above, and you’ll receive the same strategy and launch support as our full website clients do.
How will the distance work if I live far away?
Thanks to the wonders of the internet, distance isn’t a problem! All of our communication will be online and mostly asynchronous. We schedule all meetings using our scheduling calendar, which automatically shows everything in your time zone. We will also be flexible in our availability for you so you can get on calls at times that work best for you.
Can you just design a quick logo for me?
Nope, but there’s a good reason. We want what’s best for your business, and we believe that every business, no matter the size, needs a full brand, not just a logo. When you work with us for branding, you’ll receive logo variations, brand colors, brand fonts, brand patterns, and MORE. You’ll also receive ready-to-use files for your brand. This will lead to more conversions for you in your business!
Can I book you for only website design?

What website platform do you design on?
We specialize in Showit websites with WordPress blog integration. This allows us to truly create one-of-a-kind websites that you can feel empowered to maintain for years to come!
What’s the revision process like?
We collaborate a lot throughout the revision process. We’ll be your expert guides throughout the entire journey! We’ll help you make decisions on what is right for your business, and we’ll always ask for your feedback. We won’t move on until things are JUST RIGHT! If you desire to be more hands-on in the design process, that’s ok. We’re happy to lead the way!
I can’t afford custom design right now, but I love your style! How else could we work together?
In addition to custom websites, we also offer template customization (a lower price point). We can connect you to template designers which we can then customize and tailor to your business and brand. If you have some miscellaneous design work that needs to be done (such as lead magnets, flyers, business cards, etc.) we can help you with that as well.

We’re graphic designers, marketing strategists, world travelers, and outdoor junkies. We help people find their brand style and share their unique messaging with the world. We live all over the western US (typically Utah, Oregon, and California).
We’re college sweethearts who built a design business centered around helping creative online business owners and couples find the confidence to show up authentically through strategic branding and websites.
