DESCRIPTION

Dorothy’s passion for gardening and beauty was evident from day one. She wanted an online space to display her beautiful gardens and inviting wedding venue.

We wanted a rose showcased in the design and later sprinkled throughout the website to tie it all together. We created the minimalistic rose design as a way to display her passion and business but not detract from her offerings, as well as create free and open feelings. The other images and mood board add a rustic and organic overall feel.

The color palette was chosen to encompass a natural yet classy feel, as seen through the greens and pinks respectively.

Dorothy’s typography reflects the beauty and simplicity of a rose through the body and accent font, while the headline font is meant to represent a rose’s thorniness and sharpness.
