What is a mindset, and why is mastering your mindset so important?
A mindset is a mental attitude that shapes your thoughts, actions, and responses. It’s important you spend time developing a mindset that will serve you, and not one you have to fight against.
Among others, there are 3 general mindsets we like to talk about:
Having an abundance mindset means you know there are plenty of resources to go around. You don’t need to compete unnecessarily for what others have.
Adopting a positive mindset requires you to focus on the things you want and look toward the good, rather than dwelling on what’s wrong or what you don’t want. If you want to get somewhere, you look toward those things, rather than all the things you want to avoid.
Developing a growth mindset takes some work. It means you understand you can do anything you set your mind to (and that’s not just a cheesy phrase people say). You have the ability to learn and develop and become something new, rather than believing you’re born with certain capabilities and are stuck with just those.
So how do you change your mindset if your current one isn’t serving you?
